The Doğuş Teknoloji IoT Kenya Summit Is Almost Here — And I’ll Be Moderating Two Key Panels.
Tomorrow, Thursday, 19th June 2025, I’ll be moderating not one but two deeply engaging panel sessions at the Doğuş Teknoloji Internet of Things (IoT) Kenya Summit, taking place at the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Nairobi, GTC Centre in Westlands, Nairobi.
This event is particularly exciting as Doğuş Teknoloji, a Turkish technology powerhouse, officially enters the Kenyan and East African market. With a strong pedigree in RFID and IoT solutions across Turkey, the Middle East, and Europe, they are now looking to make an impact on our continent — starting right here in Nairobi.
Why This Matters
Themed “IoT in Kenya: Gaps, Challenges & Opportunities”, this summit is not just another event — it’s a timely, targeted dialogue about how Kenya can scale IoT adoption meaningfully across key economic sectors.
Both panel sessions have been carefully curated to feature sectoral leaders who are either deploying or championing IoT solutions across telecoms, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, retail, logistics, utilities, and agritech. The goal is to go beyond the buzzwords and really unpack:
- How IoT is already being deployed in Kenya’s core industries
- What gaps still exist — from infrastructure and interoperability to skills and awareness
- How we drive inclusive and sustainable IoT adoption at scale
A Glimpse at the Panelists
Here are just some of the individuals who will be sharing their insights on the day:
- Cynthia Karuri-Kropac Karuri-Kropac, Chief Enterprise Business Officer, Safaricom PLC (Chief Guest)
